Alba Dalmau (Cardedeu, 1987) she holds an undergraduate degree in Audiovisual Communication and a Master’s Degree in literary creation from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. In 2011 she published her first novel, Vonlenska, which was awarded the Premi Recvll. She lived in New York where she wrote the novel Bategant (Cossetània, 2015) awarded the 2015 Vila de l’Ametlla de Mar Prize, and the short story collection Estàndards (Angle, 2017) winner of the 28th Vila d’Ascó Literary Prize. In 2019 she published El camí dels esbarzers (Angle) and in 2020 entered into the world of children’s literature with Capgirat. She currently teaches creative writing at the Barcelona Laboratori de Lletres.
